PM orders government sector to create online data platform accessible by public
BANGKOK (NNT) – The Prime Minister has ordered government agencies to create an online platform, collecting government’s missions, services and other works that are beneficial and can be accessed by citizens.
Government Deputy Spokesperson Traisulee Traisaranakul revealed that Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-O-Cha has ordered all sectors of the government to launch the platform within 3 months.
According to the deputy spokesperson, the platform will provide citizens with information on services, local authorities’ missions and answers to public concerns. This way it will help the government sector provide services efficiently.
Moreover, the PM’s order is also in accordance with the national digital development plan, which aims to increase the public’s access to government services, help develop private operators’ competitive capabilities and enable everyone to monitor the government’s transparency.
